Hopping and Bouncing

There’s a lot of hopping going around.
I’m talking about a new business trend:
Job hopping.

And this is going on across the states.

However there seem to be some differences.
Red states are experiencing more bouncing than the blue ones.

Lower wages seem to be the driving factor behind the higher
job-hopping in the red states.

Higher minimum wages entice employees to stay longer on
the job in blue states.

But, as the saying goes:
When there is a will there’s a way 🙂

Employees in the red states have found a way to give
themselves a raise:
Job hopping.

Based on available data wage growth is about the same – whether
you are in a blue or a red state.
You earn about the same.

But in a red state you need to bounce around more.

In spite of these differences, job growth is equal.
Equal in both blue and red states.
Interesting, isn’t it?
