The man who redefined the impossible

“What I suffered physically was worth what I’ve accomplished in life.
A man who is not courageous enough to take risks will never accomplish anything in life.”
Muhammad Ali

Paired with his outstanding boxing abilities, it was this kind of confidence and determination that propelled him to become the biggest sports star of the mid 70’s.

Far from being perfect (who is?) Ali kept reinventing himself; and learning from past mistakes.

He was named the Sportsman of the Century by Sports Illustrated.
And BBC dubbed him their Sports Personality of the Century.

Ali, the three-time world champion, will be remembered as a man who redefined what impossible means.

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men
who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given
than to explore the power they have to change it.

Impossible is not a fact.

It’s an opinion.
It’s a dare.
Impossible is potential.”
