Participate! Get Involved!

“One of the penalties of refusing of participating in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.”  ~Plato

Few of us together.
Talking about our community.
And how much we enjoy living here.

Didn’t take long for the conversation to get heated.
Someone started on politics 😆

We talked about leaders and leadership.
The conversation moved from local to national.
Soon we jumped to global organizations.

One from the group (a self-appointed moderator) made several good points.
Including the fact that there are many good, decent people — here and elsewhere.
Yet, they hardly ever get involved in politics.

The message came across, loud and clear:
Do you want to have people who truly represent (and look out for) your best interests?
Then get involved!

Hmm.
Something to think about it 🙂
