Simplicity, patience, compassion
This past week I’ve met and talked with some interesting people.
One woman talked about presidential candidates.
And the pros and cons of gender in the election process.
A man in advertising talked about the information/selling ratio.
And the evolving needs and wants of consumers.
A mother feeling overwhelmed:
She talked about her 60-hours work week; and her two young children.
A food scientist, talked about some chemical additives; he felt it was relatively safe to have them in our food supply.
Busy people with overbooked schedules. Often getting impatient with one another.
Especially when not in agreement.
If you ask any of the above people what they would like the following two are at the top of the list:
- They want to simplify their lives.
- And have more patience.
“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.Simple in actions and thoughts.
Patient with both friends and enemies.
Compassionate toward yourself.”
